So the journey begins. Actually, it started long ago, but the exciting part is the experience of going after all the planning and dreaming. I will try to use the blog as a way of communicating. If I can't access it in C.R., then I will send email updates. I am hopeful this will be a better way of leaving messages and even adding photos.

I have seen many friends this past week and I have been more than encouraged. Thank you all for sharing in this with me. It means so much to know I have such a great rally of friends and family behind me! I really don't know what to expect, but as you have encouraged me...I am quite expectant of something awesome!

As you think of me, pray my brain would become a sponge for the language. I am told that my host family will only be speaking Spanish and the classes are immersion. (What have I gotten myself into?!?! :) )

The itnerary...Two weeks in Heredia, then to Samara on the Pacific Coast for two weeks, and then back to San Jose for a month with the Sellers.

Until next time...

Steph,

I just want you to know that I am so proud of you!!! You are an incredible woman of God and I know that God has a great plan and purpose for you. I consider you just like one of my daughters, you are truly the Big Sis to Kass and Kristin and I pray that they grow to have such a willing to seek God's face no matter the cost or the place.

Please know that the Shonkwiler's will be praying for you and looking forward to hearing about all the miracles that you are going to see and to experiences. I will keep asking " that God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, will give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him in all His fullness and glory."

Blessings and Favor
Love You,
Pastor Ed

Ms.Pooh, I feel so smart after you telling me how to do this!! You know your mama!
Dad and I are very proud of you and only wish the very best for you. That word "perserverance" has been a big word since you were a Freshman in HS on the boys basketball team. And that word even today is one that describes you. I have learned a lot from you in your strong faith. My prayers are always with you my dear. We Love You - Mom & Dad

Hi Steph,

The BLOG is the greatest idea. Love hearing all about your experiences. Now don't use your new language on us without translating it in English! :o) What a gal! I'm sure you are keeping busy and tired, but what a great feeling, eh? Be sure to give the Sellers my regards.

Love and (daily) Prayers,
Rena
